What are the main types of Elevators?

GEARED TRACTION ELEVATORS

Geared traction machines are driven by AC electric motors. Geared machines use worm gears to control mechanical movement of elevator cars by “rolling” steel hoist ropes over a drive sheave which is attached to a gearbox driven by a high speed motor. These machines are generally the best option for basement or overhead traction use for speeds up to 4 m/s & height 90 meters. We have AKIS, EKER, GEM, NBSL, TOP GEAR which are made in Italy, Turkey and China.     

GEAR LESS TRACTION ELEVATORS

Gear less traction machines are low speed (low RPM), high torque electric motors powered either by AC. In this case, the drive sheave is directly attached to the end of the motor. Gear less traction elevators can reach speeds of up to 2 m/s & height 150 meters. A brake is mounted between the motor and drive sheave (or gearbox) to hold the elevator stationary at a floor. This brake is usually an external drum type and is actuated by spring force and held open electrically. We have Turkish (AKIS, EKER), Italian (GEM) and Chines (NBSL, MONA DRIVE, TORIN) Solution.

Most of the items are branded i.e Schneider, ABB, Siemens a few names. 

COPs & LOPs

We have thousands of analog and digital COPs & LOPs. Our customer can choose any ready made or customized COPs & LOPs according to the requirement or designing. Our long lasting COPs & LOPs are also imported for very long run. Our most selling COPs/LOPs are SKY Elevator made in Turkey and China.
